Ow yeh, rock and roll! blues rock actually, and brought to ya live from three different countries on a SL stage near you. So : its LIVE music from THREE different countries by FOUR musicians streaming into your speakers.. Now thats using the virtual music scene to the max! Dadadam! Besides techno wonder.. it actually sounds good too ;) Great voice and audience involvement by singer foxyflwr Cure. Stuff heard : Portishead, Jimi Hendrix and…. lotsa stuff i dint recognise (i must be too young….) well worth a party!

Only got the last twenty minutes of this performance, but he did cool. Heard American Pie (Sorta wonky, first time he did it live) Creep by Radiohead, Mad World by Tears for Fears. His voice is great, his strumming sweet and the audience here at Glass Earth – neat sim to explore btw – was enormous (maxed out the sim!) .. lotta listeners singing along in main text, so no short on keeping up with the lyrics.. Closed off with Wonderwall by Oasis and Pearl Jam’s hit Jeremy, so im happy i found an 80′s / 90′s guitarist id love to see more of.

I dunno where to begin.. TOTALLY AMAZING.. and thats an understatement. Yan is one of those talents using his instrument to the max, playing instrumental tracks, using overlays as he goes along and creating an awesome performance. Not only in the speed of his playing, but dynamics, effects an all.. cant really say anything but GO SEE HIM and forget Satriani. Amen.

Lady Jazz player with an awesome sounding voice and nice compositions. All is her own work an she actually has four albums out for sale thru Amazon. Three of those are pure instrumental stuff, but her new work is more popular and brings out her voice (why has that pearl been hidden ? ; ) ) Well, for her many years in the bizz it aint surprising shes got the fingers racing over the keyboard, but still cool to hear good command of the black n white wood.

Nice collection of classics of this rather good finger picking guitarist with fitting voice : Starry night by Don McLean, hallelujah (Jeff Buckley version), Wild World by Cat Stevens, Fade to black by dire straits.. Now, some songs don’t quite work.. cus its more like spoken than sung.. and if yur doing classics, i wanna sing along as if im lissening to the record. That said, was a good show to see, specially as he did Tears in Heaven by Clapton ; )

Delayla, Breakfast at Tiffanies an other nice up tempo sing a long tunes. Sylar Morrisey plays some nice tunes, but needs to figure out the mix of his mellow voice an guitar a bit better, as his enthousiastic strummin drowns him out a lil. But his voice works for his repertoire, over the whole range. All in all a nice performance an loved the venue, Stonehenge.

One of those performers that stands out. Plays popular tunes and well known favorites, his fingers racing over the fretboard an making my jaw drop. Well skilled on his instrument, he throws out tango’s, flamenco and waltzes on his nylon strung guitar without needing his voice to fill up what many lack in finger picking skills. If you appreciate South American music, you can not afford to miss this guy. and fer the ladies.. his voice ll make ya melt as he thanks you for his tips ; )

Dadadam! Tribute bands in SL are a weird thing, an its more bout preformance using the tools SL give ya than yur music talent. But hey, its Korn comin out of my speakers and well worth having a blast. Spose the one thing that rocks about these tributes is the gatherin of fans to honor their heroes, and it stands or falls by how well the guys on stage pull off the imitation over the live backing track of the original band. These guys got their act well together, and use enough effect and crowd involvement to keep me happy fer a while. Good fix while i wait for the real thing to visit town again : )

Raw blues. Thas the words for klevinblue Oh. Big crowd textspamming their love for him, an its fer sure a real feel he gets out. One a the hardest things for an guitarist in SL is doing a solo without making the whole song fall apart without backing track.. Well, kelvins got it nailed and plays his licks with ease into his chordschemes. Worth a good time if ya wanna dance an use yur ASCII art to the max :) an ya jus gotta love the continuous overdriven electric guitar!

One guy with a beatbox, more keyboards than he really needs, a vocoder to sounds silly and do barbershop multivocals and an avatar with a chinaman hat. Yap, its Hathead Rickenbacker. an hes cool : ) Plays Sweet instrumentals and jazz tunes an sings well, coverstuff and by some a his own work, of which one songs about avatars in Sl.. now.. MOST COOL : he dont use the soundstream, but the videostream, so ya can actually watch him play RL as ya watch his keyboarded avatar as well (well, ya can watch his RL hands.. but hey, thas more than with any other performer) Check him out!
